The soft sheen of nacreous light, of silvered settled snow.
My heart beats with love, with passion, who will claim it? This i do not know.

Cold steel grip of ice, ghostly grey frosty mornings.
Louring skies, promising sleet and snow, marbled with pale azure blue.
Inside me now at this moment in time, i am full.
Passion, emotion and deep deep love, freely flow full through my veins, with thoughts of you.

''Each soul is potentialy divine..the goal is to manifest that divinity''

Perfect state of being ... so full of love.
The winter scene is softly transforming ...

Beautiful!

Phil,
You paint a heartfelt portrait in this write.
Seasons do change...bringing us to such a deep appreciation for the differences and the samenesses.

Nicely done.

its good that in times of "alone" we can fill ourselves with thoughts that will carry us through whatever comes to weather us

You certainly know how to tug at my harp strings... You write so descriptively and with so much emotion, I feel as though I am actually experiencing what you are experiencing. That is a mark of a good writer!

May the sun melt the winter snows...

"Cold steel grip of ice, ghostly grey frosty mornings."
Sounds like this morning outside my house..
8 inches of snow overnight....But the thoughts in the last lines are warm enough to melt all that...
Excelent language use, enjoyed this poem,GR.
