Did I hurt you,
with my indecision,
my inconsistent words?

It was never my intention
Just my confusion
Speaking before thinking

I wanted to be something I wasn’t
for you

Now that times are different
I have stepped outside myself

I am shamed at my part

Does this surprise you?
You may think I am cold and callous,
unmovable and oh so strong

But I am capable
of seeing
where I went wrong

I liked this for a lot reasons

Well written, close, expressive honesty and the writing is excellent

It seemed to bring a lot of images from a lot of days gone

Nodding here and hugging you.

It took me a long time to learn that saying,

"I told you when I met you I was crazy" wasn't exactly owning up to my responsibility in the sharing of mistakes.

Though I confess, it's hard for me to imagine you being inconsistent of word or guilty of thoughtlessness.

love ya Susan!

Well said Susan.

I believe what you stated here, Susan. And, you stated it very well!

The harder part of growing up is discovering how fallible we are isn't it?

A tender write, Susan. You've offered up such a heartfelt piece, one that must have taken swallowing a few lumps to write.
Kudos to you, lady.
