Kentucky Woman

Passed through the place of my birth,
Elizabethtown, on my way to the
Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.
Drove into Louisville and headed for
the old part of town where I lived
as a child next to Churchill Downs.
Pulled over at my old address,
Seven O Five Dresden Avenue, and to
my surprise thats when I met you.
You charged me five kisses to
park in front of your place,
from there it was only a hop,
skip and a jump from the race.
I knew that I was living in grace,
when this blue grass beauty said
she was taking me to the race.
You see, there's a few things that
previous experience have taught me.
Kentucky women are excellent cooks
and they make darn good company.

Margaret my love,
I miss you.
You know
I do.

This is lovely and sounds like a ballad.
So there is a Margaret in your life ...   I bet she is a pearl as her name says and as you describe her!

Would you believe me if I said that I hailed from Kentucky? ~ No? ~ Gosh, I should have known that there would be no fooling you about women ~ or "angels"!

Warm hugs 'n smiles,
EA

Hey James

A beautiful dedication to a very special lady.

"Love.....will put it's hook
into your heart and force you
to know that of all strong things,
nothing is so strong, so irresistible,
as divine love"

Take care........Sue

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
