They're passing a bill on Capitol Hill now all you'll need is to buy some swill and wash this thing down with your new diet pill. 'Cheeseburger Bill' Oh my, what's going to happen to the poor doctor who just invested in a new staple gun and a cool suction machine? Will his pockets go lean? Do I have to start hiding my french fries and grilled cheese? Do I need to send this email to the White House? DON"T MESS WITH ME or my Dunkin donuts, please! |

LOL, thanks friends, for tolerating my food rant. I'd like to think we don't need FOOD legislators and enforcers. SHEESH! Maybe someone SHOULD write another one about this topic? One maybe about the donut holes that run around the country and in Washington? In reality, the bill itself says what we should all know anyway, that its the individual's PERSONAL responsibility to be aware and informed of what they stick on their tongues. While I think the truth in advertising issues are also involved here, since when does any responsible conscious person believe they can eat a double whopper and a double order of fries washed down with a monster sized shake for a quick meal/SNACK and not get fat? Just do the math...most of those meals are more than a full day's calorie intake for a 5+ footer. Top that off with hours on end of TV or PC/game time, and VOILA...the American dream machine in mega 3D. |
