ruthless; the long winter months
that leave behind a grey trail
of scattered colourless leaves
and scrawny denuded trees

aimless; I stand clad in warmth
on this sprawling veranda
balancing my body mass
on the secure balustrade

distant; the tall mountain shines
reflecting sun’s knowing smile
while a crisp gentle breeze pats
the back of my roving thoughts
that straddle my age of youth
evoking karmic musings

It sounds wonderful my smilin' friend.
I see you are in Belgium now?!!
Studying or visiting?  How exciting!

Suddy, there's always been something about your writing that says just a hint more of what you really want to say....

go ahead, my friend, delve....

I am waiting.
