Empty can clatters,
rolls across the empty street.
Sometimes, I'm lonely.

Everybody feels this way sometimes...but i have love burning within me...and i refuse to let it get to me for long...

Hope things look differnetly and your lonliness is short lived very soon...

From your loneliness has come a little gem of a senryu! I guess it's true what they say, "Every cloud has a silver lining".

You created so much with so little! Excellent job!

~ Sending you love & friendship and please join me in a nice warm cup of tea and some chit chat!

Loving hugs,

conveys that feeling well.. and as for the lonely. we do all expereince it at times, sometimes when we seem to have around us friends or family..and still we feel isolated and alone.

got an extra can? we'll just kick 'em till the dust covers our feet and legs, then go to the creek and wade in to wash off the dust, we ourselves created..

Noah, I can always count on your kind response. Thank you.

midnitesun, When you kick them by yourself it sure does.

muted, I'm there girl. Any time.

INclan, thanks-I hardly ever do, so I guess it hits me harder when I start feeling like this. It's nice to know I'm not alone in the feeling, though.

shadows, 'lonely together' , at least it's better than lonely alone.

Thank you Charisma, that's sweet.

Goldenrose, I feel better already. The outpouring of love from pip is something one has to experience to believe.

EA, thank you.  I think it's one of my best poems, but I don't like feeling this way.

Cpat Hair, you've made me smile. I'd love to go can-kicking and creek-washing with you.

J. Samm, that's a real compliment. Thank you.

To everyone: I've been feeling this way for the last few days, I don't know why, but when I got up this morning and read your responses I started to smile. I think things are better already.

Perfectly rendered solitude.
Yes it happens that me too I feel lonely even among people ... but thanks to God it passes always ...
