buckle up. hobbyhorse is back it the latest obsession! it’s a fist in your face, a stapler in the mud, toads in your brain, mouth full of beetles, cool as a forest fire, a whitewash in the snow, funnier than a dead clown, an insomniac cat, odd as a three-headed cod, the polaroid of your naked mother. it’s a head full of birds, a future full of apples, the marshmallow mongoloid, an ice cream sandwich when you’re late for work, maggots in your meat, the bullet that misses, grass-stains on your soul, a large solid-hoofed herbivorous mammal, flies in your milk, teapot and muskrat love. it’s a pursuit outside one’s regular occupation, engaged in especially for relaxation, sneakers full of dog puke, a drunk passing out in public, the bottle of vodka shared with your uncle, two week’s vacation in the nuthouse, a plateful of fried kivers, my exclusive tristan tzara action figure, that comes only with the cabaret voltaire playset. it’s a topic to which one constantly reverts, elephantiasis of the senses, a chubby baby with a spitty smile, (insert your own line here), the ugliest freak you’ve ever seen, twenty pounds of crap in a two-pound bag, a magnetic milkshake, an alcoholic superhero, the greatest thing since cats. it’s me, you, an empty bowl, in your breath, out of your soul. elephants, elephants, elephants, elephants, no, wait, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, hobbyhorse, time’s up.
