June is smooching
Coaxing with clear temptress waters
Unrolling before my eyes
In chronological order

White stars climb even higher
In generous infinite dictations
Splashing sunlight through hemlocks
More greener now, then before
Right into the marrow of earth
To some worlds veins that are and were
Jumping into this spiritual moment
I break into shapes and tones
Hugh dreams spiraling with wings of courage
Borrowing ideas of sailing across the undertow

While voices of light penetrate my soul
Reading to me, like a visiting nurse
Together we find a passage…
Listening deeply with our hands
Succulent pears tasted so good
Seraphic muse with an absurdly clear vision
Is a master of the surreal, linking feelings

Handing me a lyrical pass
I’m not waiting for the next stanza
Remarkably composed, holding my finger to the wind
Climbing the ladder of harmony, smiling a wave
Jumping right into this river
Monet’s water lilies smile
Running to meet me
Asking me if I found their beach ball
Pointing to the water, together we dive

On the way to the other side

There were so many homeless crowding the roads
The looks on their faces were blank, like that of a crow
So I gave them my dreams…all of them?
There was an unclear sense of some loss
Turning my head, walking straight into the voice of dawn
And right out the other side of God’s being
The very essence of full human potential
Discovered my bones

There I was…
Weak, hungry, alone…..but alive
I remembered the blueprints in my pocket
Glanced at them, looked right up into the sun
Thinking, “My oh my, that’s some palace I’m going to build!”
I imagined molecules linking together….thinking
“The Artist Transformed my Direction”
Well…better get started…
I’ve got a map of Imola

Whenever I read your poems I think of Whitman, sometimes Ginsberg...
The way you arrange your stanzas is phenomenal...Sometimes I have no idea where you are going with a line, but it doesn't matter...There is sheer joy in your compositions...this poem is no exception.
BTW....Are you making Reference to the city of Imola in Italy, or the rugged Grande Prix racetrack that goes by that name...? just wondering..

Dear Ice...truth be told...I don't know either, where I'm going with poems...and when I start writing...until the end, when most of the time, a title comes to me.  So many thoughts wandering around in my mind...and so many questions.  I read once...and I don't remember where, maybe the Bible...but it went something like this...If you just let things be, and accept what is happening, to the questions will come answers...and most of the time...in there own time, they do come.  In each individuals purpose and path.

Many thanks to all of you for taking the time to not only read...but comment as well.
