Your scream is audiable across your oceans.
Explosion rips into your unique body, penetrated by the ugliest of intrusion.

Scarlet is your very element, blood rushes from your gentle body.
Agony of extreme pain grips you and forces you into submission.

Pulling, desperately trying to escape, back to your world of gentle beauty.
tearing, ripping, rending your sacred flesh from a body that has been beautifuly passive.

For you i weep a silent tear, as the crimson blood gushes into the blue sea.
Now you die at the hands of humans, taking your unequalled body so massive.

One day your kind will be free to roam the oceans and sea's, kind and gentle eyes never to see the evil ships, but your own kith and kin.

High pitched joyous calls will echo and resonate throughout the waters of the world, when the death boats never put to sea again.
Freedom will be yours and the wonderfully free world you live in.

Dixie..thank you for your words....a new report has just been sent to the international whaling moritoriam by a team of leading scientist, specialising in animals and mammals.
The new report will argue that whaling should be stopped purely on the basis that it is inherantly cruel. They base their research on fact, one in five whales killed with grenade harpoons take more than an hour to die. That they say, is like someone spearing a horse all the way through it's belly and have it drag a car down the street while it's blood gushes into the gutter, this will give you size ratio comparrison.

Even the japanese, the worse culprits of whaling for ''Scientific'' purposes, have conceded that if they could hear the whale cry, they would not and could not kill them, they know that it would be defening, hence my title.

Sir David Attenborough is heading the call for whaling to be halted on cruelty grounds.
If you would like to keep up to date with how the whaling debate is going,  look at Greenpeace's website and you can join in with the people who want to stop this sensless killing of our biggest and most unique mammal.

Your very welcome Dixie...tell your friends.... the more people who get invloved the more chance we have of stopping this barbarous act.
Everything that can be got from a whale can easily be got elsewhere without reverting to the killing of such a gentle creature.

Dear Goldenrose, thank you for touching this problem with such passion and compassion. The whales are so beautiful, what pain is inflicted on these creatures! I have a tape with their songs recorded in midst of beautiful music and it’s something that gives me Goosebumps every time.
May all kind of cruelties stop!
Love, Margherita

Indeed a sad thing...  good write GoldenRose.

Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder.

whales are magnificent creatures, and yours is a very worthy cause...I hope people stop and listen, before they are no more.  Best wishes Phil and thank you for sharing such a heartwarming issue.

Phil, thank you for addressing this horrendous issue and speaking up for the whales. I love whales and listen to CD's of their songs ~ the humpbacks are especially talented!

A very passionate and painfully informative write.

Love, Light & Whales,
Linda
