Listening to every heart

Congenial Forevers

Look at me, as I look
At you,
In a most congenial way

Is this
Who you are?

(Do not ask the age
of innocence)

Change?  Is simply concurrent with
Life’s give and takes…

If one cannot give,
And take,
With the flow

Then let it go.

Nothing stagnant,
Changes
Other than to die.

Good advice, poetically spoken Kari.

Well worded piece. My favorite lines are the same as Duncan's. Excellent.
Thank you for sharing.

enjoyed the sounds and wisdom of this.
You have such versality as a poetess.
