"It's 'pea-soup' balmy out tonight!"
the weatherman engaged his smile.
"Yes," I thought. "Oh yes indeed"

hungry-hunger-been-awhile

I made electricity
crossing legs
and dotting "t"'s
brushing feathers
from my face
delighting
in the tingling
of my nails in skate of scalp...

blushing

just beneath.

A bead
of sweat
in birth of me
languid
icing my own neck
I can smell
the musk of self

thinking-of-you-as-I-write

beat-heart-beat
and hold-me-tight

reeling in the free.

~chimes~

a rhyme's malingering
luscious
lick-my-finger-pout
tonight
the breeze
feels like a shout

(to think I thought I'd do without)

~laughter~

singing spring.

serenity,
You amaze me!  Where on earth do you come up with all this imagery for one poem?
I'm envious!!!   Have a great weekend!

you know me baby..Im moth giddy for that bayou humidity.

LOVE the imagery and word play in this girlie.

Through the water ... through the rain ... to the soul of everything
Wash my heart out on the stones ... and I'm almost gone.
