Tell me exactly where
The scream inside goes
When you in open mouthed face of wind
Hear only the weak sob
And pick shattered pieces off broken limb
To try and put it all back together

Again

Or where it is inside
One finds enough solid substance to stand
When black born sting of hail
Leaves the layers slick and thin
And you know
Someone on you

Depends

It again depends

Stubborn courage or ill formed will
That does not allow give of ground
But leaves holes inside

All and all

Still

This empty of me to self-sorrow

Will all be better

Tomorrow?

Excellent Captain...
Very high winds here today...
went for a walk
down by the water..
tears dried as fast as they fell.
Hugs~

I recall an April long ago, dead of
night...these feelings...

maybe it wasn't
so long ago...

Have you been peaking inside my head?
This poem was excellent.  I love the way you began it with the setting you chose.  I could feel the open-mouthed screams against the galing wind.  It just got better and better from there!  Incredible title, too.

There are moments when speech
is but a mouth pressed lightly and
humbly against the angel's hands.

Again

You write with so much finesse....
Really liked that verse up there Cpat.
Had me thinking that once I get it put back
together, can I keep it together!!

Probably not!
