Listening to every heart

Tacit Rejoinder

Alone, among many, as silent thoughts
Of what to do, turn a corner or
Stand still, rambling, rumbling, rubbing
Irritants, wanting, needing, to be pearls but still
Only sand, tumbling within...

To whom does one turn?

Faceless, untouchable, spiritual quests
Exception by key that one may
Interchange exchanges of subliminal views,
We reach sans hesitancy into the unknown....

For there is to be found, somewhere
Out there, where
A sense for any vibration plucked
From silent, tonal plea in keys of lee....

As ivories tinkle through one’s mind
Searching for more,
In seek of find.

Hear the music…seek the rhyme…

Count heartbeats in three and quartered time

A tune played, a melody
In gentle caress

Crescendos building, sweet rise and fall
Tones of solemn understanding
Sung in duet of harmonies,
Universal notes
Timeless pleas

A song written...

Can you hear me?

Voices seek timeless knowing
Carried through in endless tombs
Alone among the many, true
But nurtured more since time in womb

Across the lands, vast miles traveled
Held in journeys of thought
Pearls of wisdom
Cast before all, as
Precious time’s net has caught

For, these are the sweetest of
Treasures found
Through searing pain and strife,

So it shall be sung,
As voices reach beyond the shadows,
Joining this chorus called life.

~*~

Donna, thank you so much
for blending your voice
with mine.

Have you considered a career in "teaching others to see images?"  I'm only slightly joshing, as there is a fine line of thought within your writing.  KJ

Thank you all.  Donna has a unique voice, and gives rise to unexpected thoughts.  If you ever have a chance to duet with her, I encourage you all, to do so.

She IS a presence!

It's always a pleasure to write with this lady;
gently, she encourages me to do better
until I've reached my goal and I've done my best.
Blended with hers my words finally
come to rest,
in the magical music of two
a sharing of muses brings words so true;
a lifting of voices in melody
Thanks so much, my dear friend Karilea!!

Thank you all so very much for your wonderful comments and I can't stress enough that if you ever have writers block she can definitely get the creative muses back in gear and help stretch your mind.  It is a treat!

Karilea, thank you for the tender tugging
and for allowing me to reach further!  Hugs

It's better than I could have planned..

Wherein could words Possibly
be found offering an arm worthy
RoseScented Reality BentPassages
Offered melody sung so true

But it is an inspiration to keep trying
to match the combination of elegance and raw truth contained herein

Chuckling...I really liked that line!
Thank you Kendell, your words left a bright spot in my day as I am sure it also did in Karilea's.  Ah but I am forgetting, she is the SUN is she not?  *s*

Thanks again everyone!
