Lone loon cries at night.
So sadly pleading her plight.
Love stolen in flight.

And I cannot deny
I heard your mournful cry
of Love lost
in the blink of an eye.

I hereby offer this song
into the dark midnight sky,
where the heart of your Love does lie,
wondering why he had to die
and leave you to cry
alone in the pouring rain.

*

May ripples of LOVE
become waves of PEACE

This is heartwrenching, dear Kacy, in its deep melancholic beauty.

Noah, though it has been rewritten a bit, (hopefully an improvement?)
yes, this one was originally written posted for all those mates left behind after the 9/11 tragedy, as well as for the loon that lost her mate to a hunter's dream that same week.
Thanks to all who read. Hope some day the world will hear and understand this cry of the loon.

I knew when I read the title I was going to like this one-and I do. Sensitive and lovely.
