The radiant glare of the sun
blinds my eyes through a prism
seven colors reflect on my face
each one having a differnt strength
when the prism is put within light
colors dance and twirl round and round
by slowly rotating it with your hand
rainbows are created
what a beautiful sight
the colors meld to form a shape
a sphere, a cone, a pyramid?
which one would you recommend?
each color represents something
which one could you be?
if you love blue
you are courageous
if you love red
you are strong
they dance on the wall and in the sky
on clouds they waltz
on starts they reflect
passing windows they peak in
to shine through and pass again
pulled out of light
colors return to their home
the prism is at rest
colors locked away inside
until the sun has risen again

I love the visuals of this very much, and you captured a quality of wonder and meditative (dare I say it?) I do--serenity in the tone.

You are finding your own style and I'm loving watching you grow in the arts.

(love, mom, heh heh)

(running out of here, folks, before she clobbers me! *chuckle*)

Misao?

I still maintain that this is one of your best.

Now allow me to be your mom (because I'm not about to stop that anyhow) but I wanted to tell you that just because this one didn't get a lot of replies doesn't mean it's not good, okay?

You just keep writing for your own satisfaction. You're already way ahead of me.

Misao?... I thoroughly enjoyed this...

These lines?...

"what a beautiful sight
the colors meld to form a shape
a sphere, a cone, a pyramid?
which one would you recommend?
each color represents something
which one could you be?"

I love that you made the colors 'mine' to
do with as I wish... You brought me into the
poem...or the poem into me... or perhaps just
a natural melding of the two... smile

and this?...

"they dance on the wall and in the sky
on clouds they waltz
on starts they reflect
passing windows they peak in
to shine through and pass again"

Just beautiful...you made me SEE the colors...
Thank you for that...

I am truly enjoying your writing and will
definitely be looking for more...

of power the world will know peace."
