One Day I walked upon the beach one day To kick the sand and watch the spray To feel the wind upon my face Just to be another place I listened to the gulls cry by Heard the waters wave of sigh Watched the clouds turn red and gold Felt to be a million years old It gathered me into its lace Held me in its soft embrace Wooed me with its lullaby Until a tear formed in my eye And then the wet fell down my cheek An agony of tears of leek And washed me in a rain of cure A momentary sense of pure I raised my arms unto the blue And whispered to the wind, thank you |

It gathered me into its lace Held me in its soft embrace Wooed me with its lullaby Until a tear formed in my eye And then the wet fell down my cheek An agony of tears of leek And washed me in a rain of cure A momentary sense of pure I raised my arms unto the blue And whispered to the wind, thank you ~*~ Your senses, and sensitivities...do bring tears...of gratitude. |

Seymour, this was one of my favorites. It is very melodic and I really, really like the conclusion, as well as: "It gathered me into its lace Held me in its soft embrace Wooed me with its lullaby Until a tear formed in my eye" ......jo |
