Love to Nowhere Unparticular No one else but you and me on a dappled path to nowhere unparticular walking just walking along a strand a boardwalk sticky with saltwater and bubblegum broken fences for the wind then settle down our backs against a slab of white cement dripping with iceplant To reach into the furthest part of you to place my love like a secret there and finding the kept hidden treasure of your most delicate thought to bring it slowly slowly into the light Surrounded by the glare of sandy beach and the prints the tide left along with the glistening hair of seaweed where the smash of waves has turned away No one else but you and me and this one small thing time |
