Today I met a man who said
I'd serve the world much better dead--
He told me of the qualities I lacked;
He made a list of every flaw
And imperfection that he saw--
He stated each opinion as a fact.
He quickly made my blood run hot
By counting all the things I'm not--
He obviously never heard of tact.
I had to put him in his place;
I put my fist into his face,
So now, of course, my bathroom mirror's cracked.

Now you get to see him multiplied. Perhaps in the myriad slivers there'll be a few visions you can live with. One piece at a time. Do we ever get our deposits back? Enjoyed.

everyone seems to be ignoring the qualities of this

perhaps they have read of a man who wasn't there.

No-on has appreciated the honesty, the imagination, the abiltity to think differently

Adonis

I am impressed but one voice and a lot of hard work for you, I think

I met a man upon the stairs
I looked again he wasn't there

I think that that mirror was cracked already! Look into another one and I am sure you'll see yourself in a much better light!

As painful as this was to read, I couldn't help but chuckle at the surprise twist at the end! I suppose I have a bit of a macabre sense of "humah" as Arnold S. would say!

Love & Light,
EA

Thanks for the little laugh! Yes, all too often we get down on ourselves unjustly! Grover.
