Its nights like these
I sip on chamomile tea,
And stagger,
Wishing I could breathe.

It’s when I watch a black horizon,
Pleading it might swallow me.

Its nights like this
I’d take a risk
If I could walk.
I’d ask for hugs
If I could talk.

Its nights when all I know is pain,
And hollow beats of lucid rain
Beating at the door...

Nights like these when I’m alone
I wish that you’d come take me home.

I’d lay myself, an offering,
Upon your floor.
I’ve never hurt this bad before...

He was a man of sorrows
...I am a girl of tears.

I think this kind of pain has more than one source... but no solution except time. *S* I hope you're feeling better!!

GG, well written, I too do feel the pain now, sorry you feel this way, hope you are better tomorrow, you would think that Migrains would be a thing of the past, not having had one, I don't know a lot about them, but they sound horrible. Be better tomorrow and wish them away forever.

Sincerely
Rick

GG, darlin', I hear 'ya.  You are in my thoughts, sweet one.  Your writing is very strong and healthy, and thanks for sharing it.  There are so many wonderful poets here and you, most certainly, are one wonderful poet!

Gentle Spirit,,
Thank you so much for your reply! Hugs back

Goldenrose,
I hope I do, but I guess the reason I write is just for myself anyway, so it wouldn't matter either way! But thank you for thinking I do...

Rick,
ohh I've wished them away forever many times! No avail, but I keep trying. Thank you for your generous reply... not many people without them have the compassion you show.

iliana,
you are just always too kind.. always! I don't think I belong in any wonderful poet category.. I rant and complain! Thank you, though, for thinking that

Sorry you have a VERY nasty headache. A friend of mine also gets migraines and believe it or not they can be massaged away.
If I could reach into cyber space I would show you how to send them on there way out the back door.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Love Bon-Bon

I've watched my sister go through this.  Such a horrible thing - she has however recently discovered some food sensitivities, and stopped eating wheat and discovered that is what was causing hers.

Bonnie,
most can be massaged away... unfortunately mine are mainly vascular and not muscular, so it makes them a bit more difficult to deal with. But a good massage is awful nice! Thanks for your sweet reply

Copper,
I'm glad she found out what caused hers! I've tried several diets and tested foods to see if I could come up with a cause, but no avail yet... in time, I'm sure!   Thank you for reading and replying.
