dishes caked
with last nights sauce

day old eggs run down
novembers pie

meals stack high

syrup thick
with yesterday's rhyme

leftovers add to
this burdenedsome tie

swept off in sonnets

wanting to hide

if i leave them my shadow
can i grow wings and fly?

You always bring such vivid thought and emotion with your perspective...
The aftermath...those stacked up, caked on...dried out feelings...
The end of wintering is near, dear one...
Watch what happens when April cries, and clears the dishes for May.
