It Will Soon Subside
~ By Sue ~

Thoughts of you come to mind
As I stand here looking out the window
Remembering the times we had shared
The times we walked across the meadow

Hand in hand we would walk
Your love was clear for me to see
Feelings of contentment were there
And, I knew that we were meant to be

I wonder what happened to the love
The one you claimed to have for me
I thought your words to me were true
And, to my heart you had the key

It has been over a year, since I left
Sometimes my heart still aches inside
I know, if I just hang on for a while
The achiness will soon subside

Well written, my friend...and it does end (thought never the memory). Nice to see you in print again...

Nice writing...A long time ago I thought that I could not live without someone...it was there choice to leave and so I had to...I'm still alive and kicking...but I will always wish it could have been different...James
