Speak
The silhouette of where you stood remarks the sable fall of shadow
Trembling in my mind the fairest promise light can borrow
Keeping to myself, in solitary currents shimmered daybreak swell
Lingering in moments where I was so safe and played so well

Speak
The passages that curve along the outskirts of a daydreams wish
Threaded through my fingers and caressed within a moments bliss
Quiet in the suns sweet bathe my soul submerged at rest
Discussions that we share within my heart beat small at best

Speak
An imprint of you glows upon my side in cheery disposition
The laughter that we shared sounds on the turn of inquisition
So silent, in the theory said of time and all it’s tame
Held captive in the sunset as the moon calls out your name

Kathleen, if I can to say one thing about your writing, it would be this:

You are consistently eloquent and elegant.

So if you ever publish?  I want the chance to say just that.
