Situated silence seemed strange to you when with certainty you declared your declaration of opinion. I stood there deliberately delegating my thoughts, dividing them between anger and laughter. You expected a rise in me, along with rant and rave; perhaps even contemplating revenge. Rather than granting your wish, disappointment was the reward of your cause resulting in the receiving of merely nothing more than my gentle natured side. You all the while believing that I had granted you victory. Verily, I would ask of thee now if when upon your arise this morn to greet the daylight did the veraciousness of the gifting left behind for your eyes to behold wrap you in sudden astonishment? I sit in thought visualizing mouth in gape, bewildered look upon face of disbelief as gaze turned upon contents of your prize. Have you forgotten that I am rather well versed on logic, reason, and current state of mind of one who has imbibed too much in celebration prior to feeling need to 'make statements.' Twenty years of remembrances....of past days, years...a lifetime. A time and place for everything.... Smiles turned to frowns envisioned when reading revisited words of how trust is given and can only be removed by the receiver. Softly again, my words have shaken that held in minds eye view as the unshakable. So solid these words of truth that once again you stumble over held meaning, still searching for self-understanding. The light shines, truth prevails.... Silence IS golden. {A continuation of the ramble series...} It's better than I could have planned.. it's made me who I am... {Trace Adkins} |

Very interesting writing...you allow us into your world and you unafraid to give full rein to your words.... i like to read this kind of work..some poeple may think it too long etc ....but i do not...it is a captured moement from your life offered to us the readers...so thank you for that... Thank you everyone so much, and GR this is only one of many moments that have been captured in my real life. Actually pretty much everything I've ever written was a result of real life...lol... most of them aren't written in alliteration though! Again my thanks to all! Peace! |
