Listening to every heart

0 posted 2004-02-25 08:42 AM

Snowflakes were falling
There in the air, fluttering through
Dark of morn,
Again

In cavort of
Look at me I am still here
But only barely

Like shadows under foam
And images in coffee brew
A glance up under lids of shy

Only barely there…
As if they pretended to be
But a passing thought
Through a brief glance

No substance,
Just dancing…

Look at me,
I am still here,
But only barely.

passing thoughts and brief glances are sometimes longer then we might even know them to be, much longer....smiles and hugs....wonderful write Sunshine

Karilea

The snow may be just barely, but this speaks to me of deeper things, quietly, and just loud enough!

Somtimes lead our only viewpoint UP
Tarry not on the stinging cold ground
staff in hand walk past mundane wrenching
foothills encompassing scurrying lost

Hurry past vendors trinkets antiquities charms all useless  moment to pray moment
to say lift me to the mountaintop amidst air
so fine it has held your true mirror always

no time exists where all the world lighted seen clear creation understanding every dream awaits thy private reading where ice
melts into warming cups rejoining body to soul to life ask thee only a hand guide lift
beyond what has ever been awaits pateiently

mere asking one step from bottom to top again where no time could impede a simple
hand up languish momentarily changing snowflakes for stardust dancing ringlets in

your hair ye need only reach to ask whisked
there Eternal Horizon God's rarified air
where judgement lives not and the summer sun
sun warms the highest summit with the slightest teardrop never disregarded unheard

awakening mountain minstrels who will neer
cease their playing til you have rejoined
all that is life all that is sight seeing
to recognition not failings only your light
Divine

Where rainbow touches earth gentlest
glow twilight abounding promising
the Orchestra Will Play Tonight

May I adopt this as my signature?

That used to bring me joy, but today even a rain of flower petals seems drab to me...
