Elapsing, Eclipsing, Evolving

0 posted 2004-02-25 04:52 AM

I found a place where silence bloomed
from beds of ashes strewn
with forgotten moments.
A garden where whispers blew
a zephyr dance across
ghosted images, a mirage of petals
from long since trampled flowers.
Solitude bleeds black into blue
exactly where twilight ends
and blends into night.
How bruised the sunrise looks
through dejavu,
and jaded eyes.
How distant the dawn seems
when walking on shattered hopes;
a journey of thought,
broken.
And if it weren't for the pain
I would have found morning
where light pierces the view,
but instead im left standing...
still,
bleeding black into blue.

I hope that the twilight brings, a new dawning on your horizon.
One that holds you gently, and ushers in, tranquility, and contentedness

Really enjoyed this Dawn

Hugs, Richy

"Solitude bleeds black into blue

and blends into night."

Loved those lines.

Even if this didn't feel like you'd been reading my mind, I'd applaud this outstanding write. Excellent work!

something comes around the corner, sneeking up like the last breath of the sunset as it vanishes into itself, rising again come the morning....well something like this

You have painted a picture in still life,
and captured it so well.

A sad poem, but with the mysterious manifestation of your pen... I would say it's uttered well.

great emotion-filled write...especially liked the lines:

"And if it weren't for the pain
I would have found morning"

powerful transition lines
