M

I carry this pain,
one of never forgetting.
Divides my body in halves,
a good side and a bad one.
It strikes my moods and washes
away the tears needed
to free me from you.

Heating the pain doesn't seem
to ease the pressure,
as the stabbings are sharper
come each morning.

If the sun didn't rise, I would live
in darkened corners.
Be fed by the kisses of yesterday,
and seek the warmth of my own arms.

Today is a bleak one,
chances of this and that,
but no definites...
as is my life.

I can feel the heat,
and can move to my right,
but the other side of me is in spasm.

Too much aloneness
and I am becoming
too much to handle
on my own.

M

You know...

(this is where I act like I know everything)

it sounds to me like you are taking on far too much and do not have a release...

You are not super woman...none of us are.

Seek out the companionship of someone outside of the circumstances and take the time you need for yourself.

this is powerful, this is grief of the heart, however the person left, it still hurts beyond sunrise and sunset...I am like you, waiting for the time when it is supposed to get better....
hugs dear lady...I feel your pain all too well

As always Maureen a wonderful write but so dark and sad. If this is about you, I am sorry you feel such darkness in your heart and soul.

Sending a big hug ... luvs, Marti

I take no credit for my poems. Although I write them, I feel
more like I transcribe them. It's just a matter of listening.

Thank you, just suffering with some constant back pain...probably from all the shoveling, and chopping of ice and loading up on fire wood..all of which I was/am not use to.
soft hugs
