It's all so easy

can't you see?

give a flower to the tainted lady
that clutches her holy book
smile at her; tell her to pass it round
and smell forgiveness beneath the ground

tell her to sail on; her motive was born
deep within the well of love
like most are
afterall

it's seems so easy
when the inner child shows herself
luring me back beneath the undertow
to drift beside her and live the here and now

gather shooting stars as they land
wrap them up in bows of gold
redeem them on a frozen night
when faith has dimmed,
into just mere glow

49 candles coming round

what have i learned?

not a thing.........

but this i know:

i'll never wear the poise or grace
that shouds the rose,

my flower inked feet, for now, just
plants that pot this wobbling ground

but dreams metamorphasize
at moments
when i lose and find my self
deep within the blessed solace
of the undertow

I loved the depth in this, Inkedgoddess ... much to ponder as days pass us by and we look back in review. I very much enjoyed your thoughts, well done.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Powerful reverie of passing time...
~P

For a moment,
seashells tossed along the shore
glittering sun-drenched
they vanish so suddenly,
swept up in the undertow.

Amazing write, dear Michelle!

gather shooting stars as they land
wrap them up in bows of gold
redeem them on a frozen night
when faith has dimmed,
into just mere glow

You are in the flow and your awareness is beautiful. You HAVE learned and will continue to learn, as we all do ... non stop.

Love and hugs. Margherita

I think most people would be more then satisfied,
to know just half of what you know, in their whole lifetime.

And undertow or not, I do see the poise and grace
of a rose, all around you

I’m sure that, everyone else does too

This was great Michelle

swept back in
the ocean's abyss
or littering the shoreline
the sea's echo
forever in the heart
of the shell
