i tried to let my heart breathe
but your feigned smile swallowed the air
i tried to let my eyes hear
but your pursed lips bid me flee

into reverie…shallow thoughts on deep sighs
puckered lips to sob the soul
instead of kisses bright and bold

i tried to let my heart breathe
but the source of my soul
was your candle of de-light
faltering, flickering, pain-ted in the night.

Steaven, I thought the title was
Pan-Fried...

After I read it though,
it might as well have been...

It probably wouldn't have hurt
as much either...

Yeah... that's a rough one
Sorry if you had to go through that

No one, should ever really have to

Great Write Steaven!
