Living in Daddy's Eyes

0 posted 2004-02-21 09:20 PM

When I look into Daddy's eyes
There is something that I see

Tell me, Daughter, what

Something tells me
No matter what I do or say
His love is just for me

For you, my daughter, always

Fun and music are fine with me
Laughter and fun are great with me

You shall have them both

Mostly what I see in Daddy's eyes
When I'm hurt or I'm scared

What I see in my daughter's eyes
The love, the hope, the trust

Is that he will never let me fall

Keep writing

standing and clapping

what a precious gift! for you both

There are moments when speech
is but a mouth pressed lightly and
humbly against the angel's hands.

A father/daughter duet!
Possibly a first for Passions?
This is beautiful...cherish the bond you two have built.
And please...du-et again soon!

On behalf of my daughter, I would like to thank everyone for responding with such supporting thoughts... She goes nuts over the fact that people actually read what she's written

Beautiful indeed . . .

I nearly missed this one
your Dad steered me to it
and so grateful that he has.
It has givenme a smile this morning

thank you
and actually

the both of you hold each other up

*smile*
