Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2004-02-21 08:26 PM

I sat here gazing today
Nothing special
Just looking into the beyond
Somehow, I saw you
Your face
Your smile
I don't know why
I cannot explain it
Not with words

With the hatred we share
Reserved for me
Something I gave to you
Emotions inside
The hurt
The pain
Yet, there you were
Watching with that smile
Your loving eyes

Understanding finally came
My heavy heart
Lighter soul weighing me down
Emotions all wrong
The need
The ache
Leads me to know
After all of the tears
I love you still

But now the animal is in pain...
And now it's starting to rain...
But I'm still the same.

(big angel hugs) This is sad but beautiful, dearest friend, it can be both a blessing and a curse but I believe you just have to filter the warmth from the tears and then move on, as no warmth should be taken for granted but doesn't belong in the pie! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sometimes, it's beyond all explanation... love does endure when all logic says it shouldn't. *S* Excellent write!

Thanks for sharing this - I've seen this...so much strength to still love despite the pain...he thought I hated him though...I never did hate him...I was only hurt and angry. Thanks; stirs up my youth
