Missed, when will his fingers
reach out and touch form so dear?
Busy, he says, but is there more to it,
an excuse pulled from air?

Is it generosity from which he gives the floor?
If so, i really don't want it  more.
i'd rather immerse myself in art of others;
Missed.  Good friend, i feel so poor

Unknowing if i'm read
is worse
than not having written
any thoughts at all.

Sadie, his loss, is our gain...

You have lovely thoughts, read and enjoyed,
by many...

Just like this one

You are read.  Your thoughts often are complete and do not require comment, but you are right that all poets write for an audience even if the audience is the self.

The deepest joy lies in the moment of creation ...of putting a thought, an image to paper. And in sharing there is a moment of suspense, but it's always worth writing and sharing. Many may read, a few only may express their approval. The one truth remains, you have done what you love to do. And isn't this quite a deed in itself?
You write beautifully and stir reflections!
Love, Margherita

Sadelite - you write well and I agree that getting someone to read what we write is often pretty important.  Loved this one!  Paul

(big angel hugs) Sadly so many just can't respect or appreciate ones own thoughts and feelings, dearest friend, THAT is why I don't accept Constructive Critiques here, as my thoughts are my own like everyone's are to themselves and criticizing them seems unethical to me! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, YOU are your own (and only) critic, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sadelite, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Busy, he says, but is there more to it,
an excuse pulled from air?......

I go through the same thoughts constantly each time I read his apologies , in fact I had one this morning saying he had been busy

Sadie,

Beautiful sharing....sometimes, when the Muse takes over, writing becomes so effortless, sharing...well, then, thats another story....please, dear, keep writing, keep sharing...~P
