How many have been put into a trance
still attached in a deadly dance
that continues between connected bodies
it persists woven in coupled hotties

are there no deadly nightshades up afield
are there no deadly elements to yield,
the sabre rattles in its sandy den
warns of an unwary passerby then...

slithers between an anvil and hammer
did you witness a ghost only to stammer?
many have submitted to an evocative trance
aware life's charade was only happen stance...

and the dance continues to scornful cords
heart rhythm scatters in leaps from fjords
'tis a happen stance dance that marks existence
a sorrowful morrow to trot in deadly persistence.
