Silken Threads

Why the slowness of tomorrow's come
as these days seem to drag on
moving from here to there and there to here
what needs pushing around
as I reveal to myself the undoneness of my life,
finding some missing pieces,
leaving the rumblings behind me.

I am up the down staircase until
I have been spun once again into my cocoon
where I prefer the tightness of my own thoughts
arming me in a warmth that seems
to never show its touch.

I search the containers
from years and years of living,
finding out only now that the scraps
do not seem to add up to the happiness
that use to consume my days and nights.

It is a beginning though, one that
should have been initiated
when the first web of entanglement
caught my security by surprise,
leaving me dangling by a silken thread.

M

This was such an amazing piece of work!  I particularly liked,

Good afternoon, Jo...I am trying to straighten out my life here...many containers to go through, sort out, sell or get rid of.

I was just taking a bit of a break to rest and gather more energy to continue.
Thank you for your comments
hugs

Well Dixie, I have 24 years of living in one place...that means alot of items of memory to go through... besides I use to do craft shows and am now ready to sell what I didnt have a chance to that last year before I was left behind. So many bunnies etc...I will place probably on ebay.

Thank you,

M

(sigh) Oh Maureen, I believe we all have to prepare for spring cleaning ever as we all need to organize ourselves and sometimes we just aren't sure where to start! (big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Maureen, I certainly do understand this part here.....
especially when the tomorrow means my Love and
I will be together again!

With love and hugs,
