Passage

My passage to the mountaintop is
One without a lifetime stop
And flows my timely through the pass
Just like sand, the hourglass.

Only mind can gift a pause
But that’s a bandad made of gauze.
It slows the mental process some
But does not stop the beat to come.

But there are things to change the mix
A vow of band, a vow of fix
It takes a slow and steady pace
A one-time marriage made of grace

It makes a stasis one of two
A ship to sail the voyage through
And links you in the final chain
Until the time of true ordain

Sage is but a yellow page
Subject to the change of age.
An aspirin to appease the morrow
A transient surcease of sorrow

How many lifetimes is your cast?
Enough until you reach the last.

Morning Sy!
A passage through time in
a one-time marriage made of grace..
It doesn't get much better than this!
A wonderful write this frosty morn.
