A Song Is Born! Dennis Weaver went to visit, his good buddy Hef Got a drink then filled his plate, with goodies from the Chef Then he saw the famous British king of rock Mick Jaeger They were chatting up a storm, just chillin with some lagers Hefner had a wild hair and, started to hit Dennis Micky looked at Hef and said, “Good God man you’re a menace!” Mick grabbed Hef and yelled across the mansion real loud “Hey Hey Hugh Hugh, Get Off Of McLeod! Sorry CD’s, this one was for the 45’s If you want to know what it means, read it to the first old geezer (like me) you see. Hopefully they will still have enough memory cells left, to explain it to you...  |

Grover ~ Thanks Grover! Glad you liked it... lol Noah ~ Noah, Noah, Noah... Yes, I know that this is a little before your time... but you do know your music really good, and I’m a little surprised you didn’t get the joke... but then, maybe you did? Any who, like I told you before, I made you an honorary 45, just like the rest of us Oldie But Goodies... and so, I’m going to explain this for you... Dennis Weaver, was an actor. TV mainly. He played Chester in Gunsmoke, but any who. Later he played this cop named McCloud in a series named, McCloud. It was a decent show I guess, not a favorite, but what the heck, give the guy a break right... lol Oh, by the way, I’m the master at keeping stories short. Actually, pull up a chair...lol Any who, don’t even tell me that you’re not familiar with the Rolling Stones classic, “Get Off My Cloud” in it, Mick sings, Hey (Hey echo) You (You echo) Get off of my cloud... Now that you know that, you should be able to understand what the punch line was supposed to mean... lol Now I expect to see a nice big tribute to Mick and the boys, from you in the near future... lol complete with your own song lyrics, and wicked photos... lol That is, only if you don’t already have 14 other poems your working on... lol Remember... “It’s only rock and roll, but I like it” Take Care Noah!
