Fill This Gulf

there are
empty echoes
bouncing on
endless ocean
I see
your dreams
they fly
above blue
and watch
their writings
silver lines
in cloudy sky
I look
across from
me and
I wish
you there
fill this gulf
I surrender
too much
salty sea
waiting counting
every grain
of sand

Helen, I have known that salty sea waiting on the sand myself, a time or two, so I can relate to this outstanding write.

and the sea surrenders
nothing
engulfing all
and me
and at horizon's break
drowns the sky

passing shadows

A very touching write and a wonderful choice of words to image the event. A truly beautiful flow of imagery.
