SEASHORE

A nasty sea thrashes ashore without regard
She fragments the seascape, keeps up her guard
Like a mad sailor chewing tobacco
She spews out her juice to and fro
The sand protests and groans--
Hope upon hope for a power of its own
To be able to create; to determine its final fate...

Granules do hang out with their own:
One grain shifts with the next
But the body, though quite heavy, is so easily vexed
It can be instantly torn apart--
Like a man with a broken heart
Just a trickle through the levee
(a few infant drops of saltwater)
Can rupture numerous veins without bother

(The storm calms, a hot sun dries
The sand dunes now grounded--
Yet, still one can hear their cries)

Now, in the same hour a nor’-east blows--
Sand colonies scatter to all pointless places
(kings and princes fall to their faces)
There they gather like lost little children
In the wilderness of forever; destitute, forgotten
To battle each other as well as their foes
For they no longer will heed the angry sea's bellows.

(big angel hugs) Oh Grover, this is so very heartfelt, dearest friend, why do sand castles have to collapse, why do rocks have to erode as the water crashes against them, and why must one force have to dominate the other? (sad sigh) God Bless You, dearest friend, this is powerful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Grover, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Man... I'm gonna have to start paying
more attention to the waves, next time
I'm at the beach...

Sad deserted shore,
Your fickle friends are leaving,
Ah, but then you know it's time for them to go,
But I will still be here,
I have no thought of leaving.
I do not count the time

Who knows where the time goes?
Who knows where the time goes?
