Sunday's child
shuffled between parents,
her pain
renewed every week,
open wounds
never healing

a tug of war
for her mother's approval,
for her father's love,
her emotions at risk

who was to blame?
me, she thought

Sunday's child,
Monday's problem

in Sunday child wars....
there are no winners
everyone loses

Ivy Rose, you are so right. And then, when
you fall in love with someone who you think
will be a good Dad to your child and found
after they have died what awful things they
have done, it's devastating.

I'm glad that my writing inspired you to  write this. Thank you.
Hugs
Ethel

(big angel hugs) Oh Ivy, this is so very heartbreaking, dearest friend, no child should ever have to be part of this as parents must work together to provide the love and needs of a child, God Bless You, I send angel hugs to all children who are affected by this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ivy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sad to say the divorce rate is higher than those who stay married! Grover.

Dear Ivy Rose, in a few words you express this painful situation so powerfully.
One of the major causes of children's suffering nowadays.

Ivy Rose
Well expressed....A challenging subject, to say the least
Your brevity here has not taken away from the subject, but has enamled the pain of it on the hearts of the reader
Good job__________ice

So true and difficult to believe what children have and had to go through, its almost science fiction anymore to believe that children can be hurt in so many different ways. I thouroughly enjoyed and it was a humble write on behalf of a great friend of ours who is going through a difficult time.
