Countless...
the passing winter nights
yet this one night
just the crescent moon remains
to render the void in half.

Crescent moon seems to be coming up a lot in my life...

I wear a crescent moon charm around my nec.

Very nice writing.

"to render the void in half"

....if only the void could be shared...
makes the empty a whole lot smaller
..ok, so i feel a little melancholy today

Though miles apart,
the solitary moon casts its light
in one sky-
the image we behold
shines in your eyes and mine.

choshi,
I really enjoy reading your poetry.  It is so clean and fresh, and it speaks to so many in its openess...   You words are few, but so well prepared and expressed.
