Full or in pieces the one moon floats silently in the void- as passing clouds rise and fall what else remains but stillness. the dark ink moon sits alone in the sky yet her shadow follows me when i think of moon, can't help but think of Ono no Komachi japanese court poet, i'm sure you've herad of her  |

"what else remains but stillness" i enjoyed the entire poem, but that one line took a deeper plunge into me, and i dont know why....  |

you are so good at these! I love the short ones! very powerful! Thank you Dixie....The Tanka form really gets one to focus and plunge the depths of one emotion. They keep me clear and honest. I love them for that reason also. ~P |
