Full or in pieces
the one moon floats silently
in the void-
as passing clouds rise and fall
what else remains but stillness.

such a beautiful poem....again very peaceful!

Wonderful!  It's a peaceful thought that some things such as the moon's cycle don't change!  Very nice, tight write with a gentle flow.  Enjoyed.

You bet Inked one....Her direct expression of passion knocks me out! She has been a major source of inspiration for studying Tanka.

Thank you Dixie....The Tanka form really gets one to focus and plunge the depths of one emotion. They keep me clear and honest. I love them for that reason also.  ~P

From Inked Goddess:

the dark ink moon
sits alone in the sky
yet her shadow follows me

Beneath an ink sky
the full moon on pond ripples,
glittering!
