 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * Play for me a love song That's bound to sweep me off my feet Take me closer towards heaven And make my heart skip a beat Touch me deep inside Let me feel your soft caress For so long my heart lay dormant Like a forgotten wilderness Take me to the ocean Beside a sea of sapphire blue Look deep into my eyes And speak words of love so true Write for me a love poem Just like in the days of old My love for you is second nature For you to have and always hold Lay me down beneath the moonlight And kiss me softly on the brow My heart no longer looks for love For it is here and now * * * "Love is a fruit in season at all times, and in reach of every hand" I am in motion |
