She stood in front of me
blocked from the glare of sun
unblinded by that which burned
and whispered I should
in quiet stand

Cutting
      my shadow from the ground
she rolled it into small
then folded it once
to make it disappear
leaving only hers
to grace the clay

I did not belive this real
a trick I thought my mind to play
and felt the unsolid fear
of having lost my soul

Then

her hands began
in magic to amaze
as she unfolded once
the part of me I thought gone
and let it unwind
       in lay on the sand

covering hers again
with darker shades of me

"You see,"
she said,
"I am always there"

I'm thinking [hoping] there will be a part three...

I'm betting her name sounds like music on the wind, too...

Oh, there has to  be a part three...right Ron?.....Ron?

another keeper

Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder.
