The Relentless Heatwave

Today's weather forecast
Says more of the same
Its been fifty three days
There is no sign of rain

As the temperatures soar
The sky remains clear
With no relief in sight
Searing heat is severe

Wildfires off in the distant
As it blackens the sky
My garden once green
Is now parched and dry

Enduring the many weeks
In the dire need of rain
Humidity so oppressing
As I wilt under the strain

Oh you should have been out here
in Cali this morning

It was raining cats and dogs!

It was so cold, I had to milk my cow
with an ice pick...

And on the way back, I stepped in a poodle...

Okay, that's enough...

will send my spirit brothers your way, my friend . . . don't know how good they are at making rain but they use to brew a heck of batch of shine (make you forget all about not having rain!).

Hope, im originally from south carolina, but, ive been living in Perth since 1996....so every single second of this heat you felt..i was in a neighbouring suburb feeling it too! though lucky me, i have no grass....so the concrete balcony needs no watering! LOL

dont worry...past april, and the rains will come...*I hope*!

Dear Hope, this reminds me of last Summer here in Europe! Today it is pouring cats and dogs here in Italy too like in California!
Wishing you that things may change quickly, so that you all calm down too. Heat goes on the nervs and humidity ..... puuuaaaaaaaahhh terrible.
Love and cool hugs. Margherita

(big angel hugs) Oh Hope, I send many rainmaker hugs your way, sweet friend, we don't get a lot of rain here in Colorado either, it's like the northern Outback here! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, may your garden be lush and green as can be, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Hope, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
