(thoughts on one I hate to love, and would love to hate) I stand in some sort of a rift, Stumbling between forgiving you And wiping you away forever. My fingers clasp tight, Bleeding onto edges of all I’ve known. Hesitantly I skim the contents of my recollections, Then more frantically I dig... I search and moan, and finally I lie fetal on the floor Tucked inside a corner Realizing that you were never here. And even now, more so, I don’t want to love you. I’m not even sure I do. It wouldn’t surprise me if soon I forgot you forever. If my mind just decided You were some expendable obsession. And having been grown up awhile now, Even at sixteen I’m proud enough to say I’m more then you. But somehow you’ve engrained yourself Enough to leave a twisted scar around my heart, Or mind, or whatever it is you’ve touched in me. No matter how much I try to hate you, Love you... even leave you be, it doesn’t work ...And I think it never will. He was a man of sorrows ...I am a girl of tears. |

krista, I'm sorry you were put in a place like this too. I'm sure I'll be alright, I'm just afraid maybe being alright involves forgiveness... and it should I'm sure, I just hate that sometimes. Thanks for your reply  Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

I have been to that point, may even still be there, I don't know for sure. But time goes on and things dissolve to dream, to faint memory...you'll get there soon hopefully... keep that love in your heart for those who deserve it |

Ethel, thank you I know I read many writes that I just don't know what to say to, also. My writes are just an extended part of me, so to call them beautiful is a real compliment. Thank you Ethel, I'm proud to call you a friend, too Dix, I figured that you'd have probably been here before, too. I guess I'm really at this place with a couple people right now. And for one, I'm just fine accepting what she did and just lessing the value of what she meant to me, she's dead now, and anger does nothing. But for the other, I should forgive her, even if she screws up, because she really never knew anything different. I just don't really want to... someday though, someday.
