In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2004-02-16 05:32 PM

Somewhere beyond midnight
rain pours shifting shadows
nights grow longer --
this night maybe I will escape
to the waters edge -- &
dark shades of bare trees

as if he knows beauty

These days my dreams
are colored with blue coral --
no matter how time has passed,
from stones to fire the void  is never full
our faith aligned   in different stars

searching for passage   deep within

Where have I been?   A memory trailing
some long forgotten yesterday

a glimpse of naked illusion
and there I remained silent and still--

Our lips touched   the first kiss
consuming my soul    &now
darkness finds me   with pale moon

watching petals fall

~~**~~
There are moments when speech
is but a mouth pressed lightly and
humbly against the angel's hands.

Oh, I liked this a lot!

Especially the ending:

"Our lips touched the first kiss
consuming my soul &now
darkness finds me with pale moon

watching petals fall"

Wonderful Lauren!
I hope all is well

OH GIRLIE...
you haunt places I havent let anyone in for so long now...
gawd.........
I remember what it felt to write like this....
(and the reasons why we must)

no matter how time has passed,
from stones to fire the void  is never full
our faith aligned   in different stars

yessssssss .......
(different stars...but they share the same sky.)

Well I cant say what I might believe ...
but if God made you ... he's in love with me.

From thought to words back to thought this one envelops the soul from beginning to end in it's trasition.  Still writing treasures I see and just to bring to light of few of my favorite lines ...
