Irvington, February 14, 2004*

How soon the sky fades
from dusk's red blaze to darkness,
as stars rise-
my heart rages with passion,
charred as winter's night draws near.

Glorious write and photo of a sunset.
I have been noticing the gorgeous skies in the mornings here lately. My daughter took a picture the other day that looked very similar to this one. aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh....what lovely miracles we can find in nature when we stopped to notice them. Youngster

Hi Youngster,

So true what you say: ".......what lovely miracles we can find in nature when we stopped to notice them."

It takes less than a moment to look around us or up at the sky and to be filled with wonder....~P

Wow, just the picture made me pause in awe .... and the passionate words actually are so harmoniously added that I must say ... this is breathtaking.

Upon waking,
is that dreams that die away?
Waning crescent moon-
lights the ice flows in dawn's sky;
this wide-awake dream called life.
