Where blue skies meet blue ocean

I could have purchased a store bought card
Lined with fancy ribbons and a pretty bow
Written by someone else who doesn’t
Have a clue or who could ever know

That our love isn’t just celebrated
One day of out of the 365 in a year
Everyday with you is Valentine’s Day
And every moment that you are near

So though there’s no chocolates to eat
No fancy dinner on which to dine
My heart knows everyday you are
My one and only Valentine.

I love you Mark Allen…

To hear your beautiful words will be especially precious to him, much more than any material gift.

You got that right, Deb!! Cards created by strangers for the masses are a poor substitute for a warm smile, a touch, and a whispered "I love you" in the ear of the one you love...nothing can equal that.

Happy Valentine's day to you and your lucky man

That’s true Deb, even the nicest, biggest
flowery phrased card, can never compare
to the heartfelt words of that very special
person.

It’s funny really, I wonder how many of
all the amazing poets here at pip, never
ever, had a single poem, written for them.

That really must be, a wonderful feeling

Your Mark Allen, is a very lucky man

I hope he knows that.

I got a good feeling, he does

Happy Valentines Day,
to you and yours Deb!

Yes, you are so right. For some very lucky people every day is like Valentine's Day. How special it is to have that kind of love in your life. Great poem and a wonderful message. Youngatheart
