“WITH MY EYES”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
There are moments when you sleep
during the night and soft
moonbeams enter inside this room
to caress your being, and I am
in wonderment of the beauty
I see with my eyes…
There are moments when your eyes
open and sparkle with the light
as it dances upon your face, and I
am in wonderment of the beauty
I see with my eyes…
There are moments when you look at
me in caring and smile before you
again close your eyes as lips
touch in tenderness, and I am
in wonderment of the beauty
I see with my eyes…
Then when the moonbeams leave on
their silent journey your face
disappears into the shadows of darkness
and you peacefully sleep once again,
yet I can still see through the dim,
and I’m still in wonderment of the beauty
I have seen with my eyes…
What a warm poem you have written here.
My eyes see the tenderness in each and every word.
Now to your reply on Little Red Book.
Oh you poor innocent. LOL
Life would be infinitely happier if we could only be born at the age of 80 and gradually approach 18.
The three stages of getting ill;
ill, pill, bill.
I don't feel 80. In fact, I don't feel anything till noon.Then it's time for a nap.
Have you had enough or are you ready to run?
See Ya
Love Bon-Bon
Magnificent!
This is a lovely piece.  Its wonderful that you can still see the beauty when the lights are out.  Whoever you are writing this about is a very lucky person!!
Dear Bill, it's like peeking into the moonlit room and seeing with your eyes ... in wonderment.
This is as romantic and sweet as it can get.
Love and Happy Valentine's Day!
