The Fabric Of Me

there is something
so fragile about love
it is the trim sewn
so tightly to fabric
the soft ruffled edge
unraveled by stitches
I could have begged you
to stay but didn’t
and of all the things
you don’t know about me
I think you know
why I wouldn’t

Threads become sails and pull the heaviest ships.

I've seen delicate flowers high up on cold and craggily cliffs

and how much armor does an egg have?

Enjoyed.
