It seems forever he’s been my hero.
A man who I thought could do no wrong.
His memory would be with me daily.
Missing him made time seem so long.

Each night I would lay in the darkness.
Remembering each kiss and each touch.
Thinking of his smile and his laughter.
Knowing why I love him so much.

He used to treat me with such tenderness.
His golden words turned my tears into wine.
He always made me feel like I was worthy
Of all of the special things that were mine.

His sensitive nature showed understanding.
He validated all my fears and my doubts.
He never failed to always have patience,
For he truly knew what I was about.

So another Valentine’s Day is approaching.
And my wonderful lover is still far away.
I hope he can feel how much I miss him.
I want him totally in every way.

So another Valentine’s Day is approaching.
And my wonderful lover is still far away.
I hope he can feel how much I miss him
And want him totally in every way.

This is lonely feeling yet it is so beautiful.
I really like it, and know the feeling well
when my Honey--love and I are apart.
